Attempts to lose excessive pounds with one-sided diets usually fail because you don't learn to take on better and appropriate eating habits. Not only that, but sticking to the restrictions of these diets leads to frustration and the feeling of failure. Long-term success can only come with a willingness to change your eating habits in general.
